North Korea's defence minister, No Kwang Chol, has been dismissed and demoted in a reshuffle of military leadership. The changes were announced by state media after a meeting led by Kim Jong Un. Kim Song Gi has been appointed as the new defence minister, and several other officials received promotions. The reshuffle follows recent joint military drills between South Korea and the United States.
