The Federal Government has invited stakeholders, including the public, businesses, investors, professional bodies, civil society organisations, academia, and public institutions, to submit proposals for the Finance Bill 2027. The Federal Ministry of Finance stated that submissions should focus on practical and evidence-based legislative or regulatory reforms to strengthen Nigeria's fiscal framework, improve the business environment, enhance fiscal transparency, and support sustainable economic growth. Proposals on taxation and revenue administration may cover tax policy, revenue mobilisation, compliance, taxpayer services, tax certainty, incentives, customs and excise, and coordination among revenue agencies.
