Police operatives from the Rapid Response Team arrested a suspected drug dealer along the Nteje–Otuocha Road in the early hours of August 29, 2026. The suspect was found conveying drugs valued at N5.8 million, intended for criminals. The arrest was made during an intelligence-driven patrol operation. The police have not released the suspect's name.
