Lionel Messi scored four goals as Inter Miami defeated Montreal 7-1 in Major League Soccer on Saturday, ending a five-game winless streak. The reigning MLS Cup champions had lost four of their previous five games since the resumption of play after the World Cup. Brazilian international Casemiro scored his first goal for Miami with a header in the 20th minute, but Montreal equalized through Fabian Herbers in the 37th minute. Messi then took over, scoring a free-kick and completing a hat-trick to secure the victory.
