House of Representatives member Chinedu Ogah has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to reconsider the exclusion of Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru from the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election. Ogah, an APC chieftain, said Nwifuru deserved a prominent role due to his commitment to the party and efforts to strengthen its structure in Ebonyi. The campaign council includes Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary and former Ebonyi Governor David Umahi as Deputy Director-General. Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah is also part of the council.
