The second Enugu City International Marathon concluded on Saturday with Kenyan and Ethiopian athletes dominating the 42km category. Kenyan Edwin Kipyogo won the men's race in 2:23:38, claiming the $15,000 prize. Nigerian athletes excelled in the 10km category, with Plateau State athletes taking the top three positions in the men's race. The 42km race started at 6:30am in front of the Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College, while the 10km race was flagged off by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, at Mgbemena Street at 8:30am.
