The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a large consignment of drugs at the Lagos airport. The agency discovered 47,200 Captagon pills, a type of amphetamine often referred to as 'Jihadi drug', concealed inside blocks of soap. The NDLEA valued the consignment at more than N1.5 billion. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in Nigeria.
