Peter Ibrahim Gyendyeng, a Christian and former member of the House of Representatives, has built a Juma'at Mosque in Gana Ropp community of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State. The construction has brought joy to Muslims in the community, who see it as a gesture of unity. Gyendyeng explained that he built the worship center to symbolize unity among Christians and Muslims in the area, especially amid strained relations in parts of Plateau. He emphasized that the gesture was intended to foster harmony.
