President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria for a three-week vacation in Europe. The trip comes just two weeks after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) opened the campaign period for the presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for January 16, 2027. Governorship and state House of Assembly elections are set for February 6.
