Kaduna State is set to become Nigeria's preferred sports destination, according to the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Ahmed Maiyaki. Governor Uba Sani's administration is rebuilding major sporting facilities, upgrading infrastructure, and nurturing talent across the state. The reconstruction of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna is part of these efforts, with a planned seating capacity of 32,000, making it the second-largest stadium in Nigeria. The facility will host sporting competitions and serve as a tourist attraction to stimulate investment.
