A 200-level Political Science student of Father Moses Orshio Adasu University in Makurdi, Rose Adikwu, has been hospitalized after her cousin and co-tenant allegedly poured a mixture of boiling water, pepper, and salt on her during a disagreement. The suspect, Agbo Felicia, a 500-level Chemistry student, has been arrested by the police. The victim sustained severe burns and is receiving treatment at a private hospital. The incident followed a dispute over living arrangements, which escalated into the attack.
