The Kano State Police Command rescued the Sarkin Noman Kano, Alhaji Yusif Nadabo, after suspected bandits abandoned him during a failed kidnap attempt in Garun Mallam Local Government Area. The attack occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, with gunmen invading the town and shooting into the air. Three residents sustained gunshot injuries and were identified as Yusif Nasiru, Salisu Garba, and Ibrahim Hassan. Police spokesperson CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident and stated that tactical teams were deployed to the area.
