Oyo APC: Aggrieved assembly aspirants drop grievances, back Tinubu, 2027 candidates

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has reconciled most aspirants who contested its recent House of Assembly primary election, with the aspirants pledging to work for the party's success in the 2027 general elections. The reconciliation is seen as a step towards rebuilding cohesion within the party after grievances followed the primary's conduct and outcome. In a communique issued after reconciliation meetings, the party's committee noted that substantial progress has been made in resolving issues from the exercise. The committee was led by Chairman Alhaji Mufitau Adisa Gbayawu, Co-Chairman Bisoye Fagade, and Secretary Barr. Dr Rotimi Okeowo.
