The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has denied reports that a student was killed at its convention in Osun State. A national daily had reported that Ademiju Ayeni, known as 'Jago', was stabbed to death at the NUJ Secretariat in Osogbo. However, NANS Zone D Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah, stated that no one was killed during the convention, and the deceased died hours after the meeting concluded. Security personnel were present throughout the event, and access was controlled by the planning committee.
