Suspected bandits killed five farmers and injured five others in attacks on Ghandi and Gidan Kare communities in Rabah Local Government Area, Sokoto State. The attack occurred on Sunday morning, two days after security forces killed several bandits in the area, leading to suspicions of reprisal. The attackers targeted farmers heading to their farms, also setting some houses ablaze. A security source confirmed the casualties and injuries.
