President Bola Tinubu has formally reported recurring xenophobic and Afrophobic attacks against Africans in South Africa to the African Union, warning that such incidents undermine continental solidarity and unity. He requested prompt collective action from African leaders, including placing the matter on the agenda for the 40th Ordinary Session of the Assembly. The President's position was delivered by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the 21st Extraordinary Session of the AU Assembly in Luanda, Angola.
