Adamawa Government Reaffirms Commitment To Livestock Development

The Adamawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in the livestock sub-sector to strengthen food security, create jobs, and accelerate rural development. Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta gave the assurance while receiving the Minister of Livestock Development, Dr. Mukhtar Idi Maiha, who was in Adamawa to commission a 40-million-dose vaccine storage facility and other projects. Farauta commended the federal government's interventions in the livestock sector, describing it as critical to the state's and Nigeria's economies. She said the state government will continue to collaborate with the federal government to strengthen livestock value chains and provide the necessary resources and enabling environment.
