Adamawa State marks its 35th anniversary since being carved out of the old Gongola State on August 27, 1991. The state, known as 'The Land of Beauty,' has experienced seasons of promise and trials, but is now undergoing a rebirth under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The Fintiri administration has focused on infrastructure, including the construction of five flyovers and the Yola Unity Flyover and Underpass. The narrative of the state has changed from one of poor infrastructure and insecurity to one of restoration and development.
