Bruno Fernandes scored a hat-trick to lead Manchester United to a 5-2 comeback victory over Ipswich Town, securing their first league win of the season. Fernandes scored once in the first half and twice in the second, with an own goal and a strike from Bryan Mbeumo adding to the tally. Ipswich had taken a deserved lead through Leif Davies, but Fernandes equalized before halftime. Chuba Akpom scored in added time for Ipswich, but United held on for the win.
