The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has clarified that its 10 operational boats are functional and available for deployment. However, the agency stated that four boats are currently sufficient for routine clearing operations along the Five Cowries Creek. The Director of Public Affairs, Mukaila Sanusi, made this known in a statement. The clarification comes amid concerns about the efficiency of the cleanup operations.
