Gunmen attacked Chiromawa community in Garun Malam Local Government Area of Kano State, shooting five persons and abducting the Sarkin Noman Jihar Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nadabo Chiromawa. The attack occurred at about 11:30pm on Saturday, according to the LGA chairman. Police confirmed the abduction and injuries to three persons, with two others also injured, bringing the total to five.
