An investigation by the Nigerian Tribune revealed that sachet alcohol sales continue despite a ban by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control. NAFDAC had ordered manufacturers to recall the products or face plant shutdowns. The investigation found that the beverages are still being sold unhindered.
