Armed bandits killed at least eight farmers and injured five others in a reprisal attack on Gandi community in Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Sunday afternoon. The attack is believed to be linked to recent security operations in which suspected bandits were killed. Residents reported that the assailants targeted farmers, causing panic as people fled for safety.
