The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied allegations of 'smuggling' candidates into the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) list. An INEC official stated that its responsibility is to administer the electoral process impartially and in accordance with the Constitution, the Electoral Act and applicable Regulations and Guidelines. The denial comes amid concerns over the integrity of the electoral process.
