Binani Air has awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to a global firm for the construction of a state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) hangar at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. The facility aims to reduce Nigeria's dependence on foreign maintenance services and retain about $218 million in annual foreign exchange. Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, chairperson of Binani Group, stated the project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
