Emir of Argungu Endorses  Idris for Second Term

The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera, has formally endorsed Kebbi State Governor Dr. Nasir Idris for a second term, praising his administration as people-oriented and development-driven. The endorsement was made during a courtesy visit by the governor's media team to the palace. The Emir, who also serves as vice chairman of the Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, acknowledged that traditional rulers are apolitical but felt compelled to recognize leaders delivering tangible results. He emphasized that sustainable development in a democracy should be based on a track record of selfless service.
