Dr. Kelechi Anosike, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Abia State, has promised to prioritize the welfare of judicial workers and enforce full financial autonomy for the judiciary if elected in 2027. He condemned the repeated industrial actions in the state judiciary, describing four strikes in three years as 'condemnable and appalling.' Anosike made these remarks while addressing over 495 lawyers at a dinner in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He stressed that a repeatedly shut down judiciary affects the administration of justice, the economy, and businesses.
