Three sisters from the same family died after their boat capsized at Tiga Dam in Kano State. The victims, identified as Murjanatu, Atikatu, and Bilkisu, were from Yalwan Rugu-Rugu village in Tudunwada Local Government Area. The incident occurred at about 2pm on Saturday, according to a statement by the local government chairman. The Kano State Fire Service said it had not been officially contacted about the incident.
