A female visitor, Mrs Iyabo Sowunmi, was arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle suspected illicit drugs into the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The substance, suspected to be 'Colos', was found concealed inside a sachet of Milo beverage powder during routine screening. The spokesperson for the Nigerian Correctional Service in Ogun State confirmed the arrest in a statement.
