Nigeria's economy grew by 4.4% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). This is an increase from the 4.2% growth recorded in the same period of 2025. The growth was driven by improved performances in both the oil and non-oil sectors, with the oil sector expanding by 7.3% and the non-oil sector by 4.3%.
