Residents of Egbema in Imo State have expressed concerns over the poor condition of roads, insecurity, and the worsening economic situation in the area. These challenges were highlighted in a four-page address presented by Comrade Lawrence Okwudili Alex to the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri, Most Rev. Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji, during a pastoral visit. Alex specifically noted that the Agwa and iZombie axes have become vulnerable to criminal activities, including kidnapping, making travel unsafe. The residents say these issues have continued to affect their livelihoods and social activities.
