President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on stakeholders in Nigeria's North Central geopolitical zone to develop practical and sustainable solutions to insecurity in the region. Speaking at the 2026 North Central Regional Security Summit in Makurdi, Benue State, through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Tinubu stressed that the summit must produce clear recommendations with assigned responsibilities, timelines, and measurable outcomes. He emphasized that Nigeria does not need another communiqué that would be forgotten.
