The Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) has directed the immediate enrolment of pregnant women in 63 healthcare facilities across the state. This initiative aims to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes and reduce preventable maternal deaths. The agency stated that the programme would help protect mothers and advance newborn survival.
