The Defence Headquarters has reported that troops of Operation Hadin Kai neutralized 114 terrorists, arrested 146 suspects, and rescued 60 abducted persons during operations across the North East in August. Major General Michael Onoja, Director of Defence Media Operations, briefed newsmen in Abuja on Monday, noting that 201 terrorists also surrendered, and weapons and ammunition were recovered. The operations targeted terrorist fighters, logistics networks, informants, and hideouts in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, and Bauchi, with rescue operations conducted in affected areas.
