Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has dismissed the notion of a good relationship with Chelsea, stating that the clubs only do business for money and players. His comments followed Emiliano Martinez's transfer from Villa to Chelsea, which marked the eighth deal between the two clubs since 2022, the most between any Premier League pair in that period. Emery emphasized that the relationship is purely transactional, with Chelsea having paid Villa £163.5 million for players.
