The Labour Party has stated that the initial glitches encountered on the candidate nomination portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been resolved. The party expressed satisfaction with the handling of the upload of its list of candidates, noting that the process has been smooth after initial challenges. National Publicity Secretary Ken Asogwa disclosed this in a telephone interview, adding that the party experienced difficulties at the early stage, particularly over the sequence of names of some candidates. He said the party has been engaging with relevant INEC departments to ensure a hitch-free process.
