Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), has vowed that opposition parties will work together to remove the government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He made the declaration in Abuja while addressing representatives of opposition parties at a G100 opposition summit focused on greater cooperation ahead of the 2027 elections. Baba-Ahmed said the opposition parties were not coming together because they were weak, but because they consider defeating the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) necessary for the country. He expressed confidence in the opposition's ability to achieve this goal.
