On August 31, Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Onishi Yohei met with Libya's Minister of Health, Dr. Mohamed Ali Al-Ghouj, in Japan. During the meeting, Onishi welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with Japan's Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, and highlighted Japan's contributions in the health sector. Al-Ghouj expressed gratitude for Japan's medical support and both sides agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, including health.
