The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is introducing Facial Biometric Verification (FBV) for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to combat impersonation. The new system will verify candidates' identities using facial recognition technology. This measure is expected to enhance the integrity of the examination process. JAMB has not yet announced the implementation date.
