The Niger Delta Progressive Alliance (NDPA) has commended Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) for its effective pipeline surveillance and community interventions during recent flooding in the Niger Delta. The group stated that PINL's operational efficiency and maintenance of pipeline corridors helped prevent environmental damage, preserve farmlands, and protect aquatic ecosystems. The NDPA noted that the recent flood season saw no widespread oil contamination, unlike previous years.
