Two flagship information systems from FAO Somalia, the FSNAU Early Warning-Early Action Dashboard and the SWALIM Programme, were highlighted at the FAO Regional Office for Africa Resilience Community of Practice. The systems demonstrate a replicable model for converting data into timely action, addressing the common challenge of turning information into coordinated and financed responses. The FSNAU dashboard and SWALIM provide evidence-based tools that have been tested in Somalia and can be adapted across Africa to improve food security and resilience.
