The Nigerian military announced that in August, troops neutralized 324 terrorists and criminal elements, arrested 373 suspects, and rescued 621 kidnapped victims. Additionally, 201 insurgents surrendered, and troops recovered 88 assorted arms and 2,077 rounds of ammunition. The operations also led to the deactivation of 21 illegal refinery sites and the recovery of 686,800 litres of stolen crude oil products.
