The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has decided to retain the $300-per-landing helicopter levy for air navigational services on upstream operators. However, it exempted helicopter landings at private offshore facilities and oil platforms from the separate Terminal Navigational Charge. This decision resolves months of uncertainty for operators and helicopter service providers.
