2027: Tinubu leads Atiku, Obi in early forecast — PIG

The Political Intelligence Group (PIG) of Politico.ng, Lagos, has released an early political forecast for Nigeria's 2027 presidential election. The group projects that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win 20 states if the election were held under current circumstances. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is projected to win nine states, while Labour Party candidate Peter Obi is expected to secure eight states plus the Federal Capital Territory. PIG cautioned that the projection is a snapshot of the current political landscape and not a prediction of the eventual outcome.
