The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to resist alleged intimidation and attempts to frustrate its candidates ahead of the 2027 general election. The party declared it would use the courts, laws, and its voice rather than violence. ADC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi made the statement after a consultation meeting with the party's governorship candidates in Abuja. The party also urged its candidates to keep their campaigns free of hate speech, ethnic and religious profiling, and political violence.
