The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disclosed that it recovered over N1.2 trillion, $684 million in cash, and 1,177 estate assets, among others, for the federal and state governments and other beneficiaries in the last three years. The EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, made the disclosure during a media briefing on his three years of stewardship, attributing the achievement to the commitment and passionate engagement of his team. He noted that the Commission secured 10,872 convictions, with 419 and cybercrime constituting two-thirds of major offences. Olukoyede emphasized that the EFCC has kept faith with its mandate in the overall interests of Nigerians.
