Grooming Centre Nigeria, a microfinance institution, has opened its application portal for the 2026 university research grant scheme, targeting students in both public and private tertiary institutions nationwide. The initiative, launched in 2019 as a corporate social responsibility initiative with just 25 beneficiaries, has grown steadily over the past seven years. The scheme offers N20 million in research grants to support students' research projects. This year's edition aims to continue fostering academic excellence and innovation among Nigerian students.
