A Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) from shutting down Dangote Petroleum Refinery under the guise of oversight functions. The court order was granted in a suit filed by Dangote Refinery's lawyers, led by Olawale Akoni, SAN, and prevents the agency from enforcing actions against the refinery.
