In Kogi, Nigeria, 15 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and 6 other people who had been kidnapped were rescued. These NYSC members were part of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II and had just finished their training at a camp before they started their journey. The rescue was confirmed by President Tinubu.
