Muhammad Bello Goronyo, who was the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, has quit the party. After leaving, he was appointed as the leader of the campaign for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Manir Dan’Iya, for the 2027 governorship election. Goronyo made his resignation official in a letter dated August 30, 2026.
